本節講解目的：影視中的語言適合于我們生活用語，但是會因一詞之錯的使用意思卻是天壤之別，或者是表達不出所要表達的意思。因此，我們透析語法來咬文嚼字地啃句子，避免我們的口語表達錯誤。同時在其中溫習文法規則。

解析：let sb do something意思是讓某人做某事。Let后面的賓語sb后直接接動詞原形做賓語的補足語。

Text:She's not bright, she has no talents, yet in a short time she's improved.

解析1：talent作為“才能”“才干”這個意思解釋時，是可數名詞。

再如： Her talents are well known.人人都知道她很有才干。She possess a remarkable talent for music. 她具有非凡的音樂天才。

作為“有才能的人”“ 天才”“ 人才”這個意思解釋時，是不可數名詞。例如：We're always looking for new/fresh talent. 我們總是不斷尋找新的天才。

Text:I was brought up by my aunt, Mrs. Reed of Gateshead in a house even finer than this.

解析1：even是副詞，在此修飾形容詞fine的比較級。

解析2：Mrs. Reed of Gateshead做aunt的同為語，表明這個人的名字。

Text:I then attended Lowood School where I received as good an education as I could hope for.

解析：where I received as good an education as I could hope for是定語從句修飾先行詞School，這個先行詞在定語從句中做地點狀語，選擇關系副詞where這個是不能省略的。

Text:And why are you not with Mrs. Reed off Gateshead now?

解析：off在此句中做介詞用，與它做副詞用時的意思一樣，意思是“離開”。
