Ukraine's refugees from embattled east escape to Kiev

Some 170 people evacuated from the eastern-Ukrainian town of Debaltseve arrive in Kiev. One refugee says that intense fighting between pro- Russian separatists and Ukrainian troops had made life unbearable at home... ...with shelling a constant threat.

Elsewhere in the embattled east, a Russian convoy delivers humantiarian aid to the rebel stronghold of Donetsk. The West accuses Russia of aiding the pro-separatist fighters in eastern Ukraine -- a charge Russia denies. As world leaders seek to end the conflict that's killed more than 5,000 people, leading U.S. senators criticize Germany and other nations who oppose sending arms to Ukraine's military. . But U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry -- speaking in Munich Sunday -- denies any split between the U.S. and Europe over Russia.

Reality TV star Bruce Jenner involved in serious crash

A grisly car crash on a California highway -- reportedly involving Olympic gold medalist and reality T-V star Bruce Jenner. Police say Jenner was in one of three vehicles that crashed near Los Angeles on the Pacific Coast Highway. One person was killed. The celebrity website T-M-Z published photos of Jenner standing at the scene of the crash. It is unknown if Jenner was driving one of the vehicles, and no information about the deceased has been released.

Nigerian presidential polls postponed

Members of Nigeria's electoral commission have decided to postpone the country's February 14th presidential election until the end of March citing security concerns. The chairman of the commission made the announcement Saturday.
出于安全考慮，尼日利亞選舉委員會將原定于2月14日的總統選舉推遲至3月末。選舉委員會主席于周六宣布了該決定。
(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHAIRMAN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION (INEC), PROFESSOR ATTAHIRU JEGA, SAYING: "Our hope is that with this rescheduling the security services will do their best to ensure that the security environment needed for safe and peaceful conduct of the 2015 election is rapidly put in place."

The opposition accuse the ruling party of pushing for the postponement to increase their candidates' chances of winning.

The impunity of the Nigerian citizen sitting down and doing nothing and expecting there will be a change."
