New York City readies for royal visit

New Yorkers are anxiously awaiting Sunday's arrival of Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate -- Officially known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- Like these school children in Harlem who say they will "jump for joy" when Kate comes for a visit. Greek MP joins Syrian refugees on hunger strike

Hundreds of Syrian refugees hold a hunger strike in front of Greece's parliament in Athens. They've been here since November 24th, protesting the government's refusal to help them move to other European countries... ...and on Saturday, a Greek lawmaker joined them.

Asylum seekers arriving in the EU can request asylum only in the first country they reach. But one Syrian man says there is no opportunity here.

Ukraine ceasefire deal talks may be held on Dec. 9 - Poroshenko

As Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko celebrates troops on Armed Forces Day... ...he reveals that fresh ceasefire talks with Russia-backed separatists in the country's east have been preliminarily set for December 9th in Minsk. A ceasefire deal was reached three months ago, but clashes have persisted. Over in Moscow -- after a meeting with French President Francois Hollande -- Russian President Vladimir Putin says he hopes a Ukraine ceasefire will soon take hold.
