Online security debate after celebrity hacking scandal

How safe is your online information? That question is again at the forefront of the online security debate after several celebrities' iCloud accounts were hacked over the weekend. Photos of female celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence and Kirsten Dunst were leaked from their personal accounts and posted on image sharing forum 4Chan. Apple rushed to restore consumer confidence saying the attacks were targeted to specific accounts and were not a direct breach of Apple systems. Unfortunately, technology experts say it's part and parcel for the territory.

The incident couldn't be worst timing for Apple who plan to launch their latest iPhone next week. Company shares plummeted on the news closing more than 4 percent down at the end of the day.

NATO leaders have a lot to talk about at this year's summit in Wales, expected to be the toughest since the Cold War ended.

At the top of their list: the crisis in Ukraine. Allied leaders have already indicated they'll buttress their support for Kiev and bolster defences against Russia. Secretary General Anders Rasmussen set the tone by accusing Moscow outright of attacking Ukraine. Kiev wants to join the alliance, but that could create a rift within NATO. Membership would oblige the other nations to defend Ukraine militarily, and that's not something the alliance says it wants to do. U.S. President Barack Obama says the door to new membership should remain open but France and Germany are opposed to admitting Kiev. The nearly 30 allied leaders will also discuss how to tackle the fundamentalist group, Islamic State, which has emerged as a new threat on the alliance's southern flank. NATO diplomats say the alliance as a whole is unlikely to follow the U.S. lead and stage military strikes on Islamic State, although over the next two days all options will open for discussion.

Hollande offers conditions for warship delivery to Russia

French President Francois Hollande sits down with Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko at the NATO summit in Wales after he moved to suspend delivery of a warship built for Russia amid the ongoing battle for control for Ukraine's east. France has come under pressure from the US and European partners to scrap the deal, signed by his predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy. Hollande denies that this pressure had forced his hand and later explains to reporters what it will take to resume delivery.

But as soon as -- and it could happen in October or November -- as soon as the conditions are met, the ships can be delivered."
