An arctic blast of snow, sleet and ice is sweeping across the U.S. South. Freezing temperatures -- worsened by dangerous wind chills -- are prompting warnings and advisories for much of the east coast. States as far south as Lousiania and Georgia are seeing snow. Shots fired at Hawaii High School

A Hawaii high school was placed on lockdown Tuesday after shots were fired. It happened at Roosevelt High School in Honolulu.Authorities say police responded to the school to take a runaway into custody. They say the teen became combative. There was a scuffle, and an officer fired two shots. A 17-year-old was hit in the wrist, and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
