Arctic blast freezes the U.S. South
極地寒流影響美國南部
An arctic blast of snow, sleet and ice is sweeping across the U.S. South. Freezing temperatures -- worsened by dangerous wind chills -- are prompting warnings and advisories for much of the east coast. States as far south as Lousiania and Georgia are seeing snow. In airports, more than 2,800 U.S. flights have been canceled and hundreds delayed. Farther north....the winter in Wisconsin has transformed the rocky coastline along the Lake Superior shores into a wonderland of ice caves.
