Crackdown on illegal migrant workers in Malaysia
馬來(lái)西亞打擊非法移民工人
The Malaysian government cracks down on illegal migrant workers. More than 1,000 of them were rounded up in Kuala Lumpur and Sepang, and were required to show documentation. Among them were workers from Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh and Thailand, local media said. The interior minister said those found without valid documents will be deported within seven days. Malaysia will not shoulder the costs of the deportations. Malaysia is highly dependent on migrant workers who are employed in blue collar jobs ranging from domestic work to construction.

Paying tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. At his memorial in Washington -- a yellow wreath to honor the slain civil rights leader. The gathering, not far from the site where he delivered his compelling 'I have a dream' speech, was just one of many events marking his life. There were parades in San Antonio, Phoenix and Denver in honor of King's work to end segregation.Vice President Joe Biden reflected on King's legacy at a breakfast in Washington.

Seven bombs strike Baghdad, at least 26 dead

At least 26 people are dead, and more than 60 wounded after seven bomb blasts exploded across Baghdad. The bloodiest attack occurred in a mainly Shi'ite Muslim district in southern Baghdad, where a car bomb killed at least seven people and wounded 18 near a crowded market. Five of Monday's bombs targeted mainly Shi'ite districts. The other two blasts were in mostly Sunni areas. No group has yet to claim responsibility for these attacks.
