Fire truck crashes into fence

They were responding to a fire at this apartment building in Memphis. What happened next took everyone by surprise. No one was injured in the crash. Fire officials say the vehicle's brakes failed, despite being inspected just hours earlier. They also say they're working with trucks that are at least 20 years old. All the bodies that have not been identified will be buried in mass graves. The Philippines has been overwhelmed by the scale of the disaster and 10,000 are estimated to have died in Tacloban alone.

Us Weekly reported last week that a source told the celebrity magazine that Gaga will join a Virgin Galactic mission that is set to launch in early 2015. During the release party of her new album "ARTPOP", the 27-year-old singer confirmed this, Vanity Fair magazine says. Currently seats on a Virgin Galactic flight are priced at $250,000 (USD). Vanity Fair reports that Gaga was gifted the ticket. But in her race for the stars Gaga might face competition from British diva Sarah Brightman, who announced that she bought her seat on a Russian spaceship bound for the International Space Station in October, 2015.
