Robot teachers take over classroom
幼兒園里的機器人老師
It's a high-tech answer to a chronic problem in South Korea's kindergartens.Where teachers' assistants can not be found,robotic versions like Jenny Lou,the exercise dog are filling the gap.The idea of robots teaching classes is still in its infancy,but it's already proving to be a hit.
韓國幼兒園長期以來難以解決的問題現在有了高科技解決方法。而類似于Jenny Lou的這類電動狗都夠填補這種空缺。雖然用機器人教學仍處于萌芽階段，但已證明是行之有效的方法。
Seven-year-old Kan Bou-Gou is a big fan.He says he particularly enjoys the robot-led gymnastics class and he is not alone.His classmates have embraced their robotic teachers with enthusiasm.The government sponsored robot-learning program was launched earlier this year with a dual aims of introducing children to the concept of robotics while simultaneously filling the need for more classroom supervision.
七歲大的Kan Bou-Gou是超級機器人迷。他表示他特別喜歡機器人領頭的體操課，而且并不只有他一個人喜歡。他的同學們開心地圍繞著機器人老師。由政府贊助的機器人教學課程在今年年初推行，其目的旨在一方面向兒童宣揚機器人的概念，另一方面滿足課堂監管需求。
"I think the robot can deal with children when teachers don't have enough time to take care of each one.Besides, it has many convenient functions in the way it can check the students' daily attendance which was a teacher's job and it can regularly check the children's mood and condition."
“我認為機器人能夠與孩子交流，特別是當老師沒有足夠的時間照看好每個小孩子時。而且它還有許多便利功能，如檢查孩子們每天的考勤情況，而之前這是老師的工作。它還能時不時查看下孩子們的情緒和身體狀況。
Which is one of Eroby specialties,when the children have checked themselves in,Eroby takes their photograph then leads them in an English class set to music,of course.
這也是Eroby的專長之一，當孩子們報到時，Eroby會給他們拍照并且用音樂指引孩子們去上英語課。
About 50 kindergartens across the country are using the robot learning service.But that number is expected to increase ten fold by the end of next year.The government says it does not want to replace its human teachers but to give them an invaluable tool for teaching in the modern classroom.
韓國各地大約有50多家幼兒園目前正在使用機器人教學服務。但預計明年年末這個數據將要翻十番。政府表示他們無意替代現在的人類老師，相反他們想在現代化的教室里為幼兒園老師們提高一件有價值的教學工具。
