【詞義辨析】
indeed，really，truly，actually
indeed: 一般用于肯定或證實對方所說的話，多承接前言，也用來加強或肯定自己說話的語氣。
really: 主要用于強調(diào)與事實或現(xiàn)實不相違背，也可表示不快、驚奇或某種含蓄的懷疑。
truly: 強調(diào)客觀存在的真實性，沒有任何虛假。
actually: 側(cè)重于實際的事，而不是憑空想象或推測的事。
【例句用法】
1.The future of this firm will be very bleak indeed if we keep losing money.
要是我們繼續(xù)虧本的話，這家公司的前途會非常黯淡。
2.Indeed he has a solemn face, but he is very humorous at heart.
他的確有一副嚴肅的臉孔，但內(nèi)心卻是很富幽默感。
3.I was annoyed, indeed furious, over what happened.
出了這件事我很不痛快，實際上是憤怒至極。
4.I don't mind. Indeed, I am delighted to help.
我不在乎。其實，我很樂意幫忙。

二.as：adv. 同樣地，例如，被認為 prep. 作為，如同 conj. 因為，像，當 ... 之時，像 ... 一樣，結(jié)果，盡管
【詞語用法】
as 常做關(guān)系代詞，如such children as love their books中的as是love的主語。such books as are loved by children中的as是are loved的主語，所以要分析清楚句子結(jié)構(gòu)，不可以隨便刪除謂語動詞，如上句中的are。
當as指代主句所講述的內(nèi)容時，也做關(guān)系代詞。
As is announced in today's papers, all the schools will reopen on 1 September.
句中的as指學校將在9月1日重開這件事。
值得注意的是，as在作關(guān)系代詞時，極易被誤認為是連接詞而加用it。

句中的it是多余的，不該加。
as much/many ...中as用來談?wù)摂?shù)量。
I haven't got as much money as I thought.
我?guī)У腻X沒有我自己想象的那么多。
另外as much/many可作為代詞，后不接名詞。
I ate as much as I could.
我盡可能得多吃。
同時，as much ...可作為副詞。
You ought to rest as much as possible.
你應(yīng)該盡可能多地休息。
as ... as ...指“兩個人或物在某方面一樣”，既可以用在肯定句里，也可以用在否定句中，而so ... as ...只能用在否定句里。
He is as old as she (is).
He is not as old as she (is).
He is not so old as she (is).
“as ... as ...”有時含有第二個as后的主語有著高程度的那形容詞（或副詞）所指的特點，如上述例句中有暗指“她很老”。
用isn't，wasn't，don't和can't等時，多習慣與as搭配，而不是so，如He isn't as old as she (is)比He isn't so old as she (is)更為普遍。
若是句中的形容詞或副詞前用了 quite這個詞時，就習慣不用as，用so。
He isn't quite so old as she (is).
as在表示“原因”時，語氣要輕于because。一般來說，as引導(dǎo)的從句會在主句前。as引導(dǎo)的從句也可以在主句后，不過必須要確認從句的內(nèi)容要是對方知道的。
You need not go with me, as you are busy.
可以說，因?qū)Ψ街雷约好Α?br />I cannot go with you, as I am busy.
應(yīng)該避免使用，應(yīng)對方不一定知道我很忙。
注意在表示原因時，不可以把as和so連用，兩者只能存在一個。 不過as ... so ...的表達方式是可以的，但指“正像……，……”。
As you like music, so I like poetry.
正像你喜歡音樂一樣，我喜歡詩歌。
as還可指“雖然”，如beautiful as she，（雖然她很漂亮）和child as he is（雖然他很孩子氣）。這樣用時，要注意格式上形容詞或名詞在as前以及名詞前沒有a或an；
as也可加副詞或動詞。
Much as I should like to see you, I am afraid you may find it inconvenient to come in this hot weather.
Search as they would, they could find nobody in the house.
要注意區(qū)分so ... as和so ... that，such ... as和such ... that，彼此之間不可以互相替換。
Here is so big a stone as no man can lift.
Here is so big a stone that no man can lift it.
Here is such a big stone as no man can lift.
Here is such a big stone that no man can lift it.
習慣上，雖然as和that都可做關(guān)系代詞或鏈接詞，但使用that時，要與it搭配使用，而as要單用，不可以搭配it使用。
as指“當…的時候”時，引導(dǎo)的從句中的動詞不能以將來時呈現(xiàn)。
Count the children as they will enter the room.
句中的will應(yīng)該刪掉。
so ... as to ...（不定式）同…enough to ...（不定式）表達的意思相同。
Write so carefully as to make every sentence clear.
Write carefully enough to make every sentence clear.
注意這兩個結(jié)構(gòu)是固定的搭配。
as from指“從某日開始”，常用在法律，契約，公告的文件中。
The shopping center will be open to the public as from 6 May, 2001.
As from 6 May,2001 the shopping center has been open to the public.
商場會從2001年5月6日起重新開業(yè)。
as well as指“（除……之外）也，又”，要注意它同and和not only ... but (also)...是有區(qū)別的。A as well as B = not only B but also A，指“不單B，而且A”，注意是B在前，A在后。
He is a Chinese, but he has foreign friends as well as Chinese friends.
He is a Chinese, but he has Chinese friends as well as foreign friends.
第一句是正確的表達，第二句是錯誤的。
不可以用A，B，as well as C.
I read French, German, as well as English.
這個句子是不可以的，應(yīng)用and來連接。
通常來說，as well as作連接詞，不是介詞。
He advised me as well as answering my question.
句中把as認作是介詞，接了動名詞answering，實際上是錯誤的，應(yīng)改為answered。
結(jié)構(gòu)“both ... as well as ...”是錯誤的，避免使用。
常有人用“not only ... but ...as well”的結(jié)構(gòu)，同“not only ... but also …”或“not only ... but ...”表達的意思相似，但是沒有后者使用普遍。
【錯句舉例與錯句分析】
錯句：As the weather was bad, so I didn't go.
糾正：As the weather was bad, I didn't go.
翻譯：因為天氣很糟糕，所以我沒有去。
分析：as是從屬連接詞，且已包含“因為……所以……”的意思，不可與so連用。
