一.jump：n. 跳躍，跳動(dòng)，上漲 v. 跳越，暴漲
【詞義辨析】
jump, leap, spring, hop, bound, skip,
jump: 是普通用詞，指用雙腳向上跳，向下跳，或在同一平面上跳到有一定距離的某一點(diǎn)上，或跳過(guò)。
leap: 常可與jump換用，但側(cè)重身體猛力向上升起并朝前急沖的動(dòng)作，有時(shí)含突然的意味。
spring: 更強(qiáng)調(diào)有力和彈跳的運(yùn)動(dòng)。
hop: 指單腳短跳或雙足猛力的動(dòng)作。也指小鳥(niǎo)、青蛙等的跳。
bound: 多指向前向上或向下跳躍、奔跳。
skip: 指兩腳交替輕輕地跳或跨的動(dòng)作。
【例句用法】
1.I couldn't understand his lecture because he kept jumping from one topic to the next.
我聽(tīng)不懂他的演講，他總是從一項(xiàng)內(nèi)容跳到另一項(xiàng)內(nèi)容。
2.The gang jumped an old woman in the subway.
一伙歹徒在地下人行道突然襲擊一老婦人。
3.The loud bang made me jump.

4.The horse jumped the fence.
那匹馬躍過(guò)了柵欄。
5.He jumped to his feet and ran out of the office.

二.along：prep. 沿著，順著 adv. 向前，一起
【詞義辨析】
across, along, over, through,
across: 指“從……的一邊到另一邊”，強(qiáng)調(diào)橫過(guò)，多與動(dòng)態(tài)動(dòng)詞連用。
along: 指沿著一條直線在水平方向上運(yùn)動(dòng)。一般表動(dòng)態(tài)，有時(shí)也與靜態(tài)動(dòng)詞連用。
over: 常和動(dòng)態(tài)動(dòng)詞連用，指“從……上面越過(guò)”或“橫越”；表靜態(tài)時(shí)，指“在彼處”。
through: 側(cè)重從一端穿到另一端。
【詞語(yǔ)用法】
作為介詞時(shí)，與名詞road，river，corridor，line等連用，常指那些有這細(xì)長(zhǎng)外形的名詞。
I saw her running along the road.
涉及到時(shí)期或活動(dòng)時(shí)，常用through，如through the centuries（NOT along the centuries）和all through the journey（NOT all along the journey）。
【例句用法】
1.Growing along the river are tall palm trees.
沿著這條河生長(zhǎng)的是高大的棕樹(shù)。
2.We bicycled along, singing loudly.
我們騎著腳踏車前進(jìn)，大聲歌唱著。
3.We walked along the road.
我們沿著路走。
