一.jump：n. 跳躍，跳動，上漲 v. 跳越，暴漲
【詞義辨析】
jump, leap, spring, hop, bound, skip,
jump: 是普通用詞，指用雙腳向上跳，向下跳，或在同一平面上跳到有一定距離的某一點上，或跳過。
leap: 常可與jump換用，但側重身體猛力向上升起并朝前急沖的動作，有時含突然的意味。
spring: 更強調有力和彈跳的運動。
hop: 指單腳短跳或雙足猛力的動作。也指小鳥、青蛙等的跳。
bound: 多指向前向上或向下跳躍、奔跳。
skip: 指兩腳交替輕輕地跳或跨的動作。
【例句用法】
1.I couldn't understand his lecture because he kept jumping from one topic to the next.

二.correct：adj. 正確的，得體的 v. 改正，糾正
【詞義辨析】
accurate, exact, precise, right, true, correct,
accurate: 指通過謹慎的努力達到符合事實或實際，側重不同程度的準確性，與事實無出入。
exact: 著重在質與量方面的準確，語氣比accurate強。
precise: 側重極端準確，更強調細節的精確無誤。
right: 使用廣泛，可與這些詞中的correct換用，但常暗示道德、理解、行動等方面的正確。
true: 暗指絕對準確，尤指復制品與原件絲毫不差。
correct: 最常用詞，主要指按一定標準或規則來衡量，沒有謬誤和差錯或無缺點錯誤。
correct, rectify, remedy, revise, amend,
correct: 指糾正或改正不正確、不真實或有缺點的東西。
rectify: 正式用詞，意義較抽象，側重指徹底改正偏離正確標準或規則的東西。
remedy: 正式用詞，通常指在局部范圍內進行糾正，尤指對困難或棘手問題的解決。
revise: 指通過仔細閱讀、反復思考后而進行改正、訂正或修訂，使趨于完善。
amend: 書面語用詞。指進行更正或改變，使之更好，符合更高的要求。
【詞語用法】
1.correct可以作為“修改，糾正”的意思使用。
She has corrected the mistakes in the report.
她修改了報告里的錯誤。
2.correct的名詞形式correction與conrrectness意思不同。correction是“改正，修正”的意思，而correctness則是指“正確性”。
The correction of the report took her three hours.
她用了三個小時來修正報告中的錯誤。
I am not sure the correctness of this point.
我不確定這個觀點的正確性。

2.I think his commentary on this issue is not correct.
