Laughed, and said between his laughing,

Leaped aside, and at a distance

Sat erect upon his haunches.

Half in fear and half in frolic.

Saying to the little hunter,

But he heeded not, nor heard them.
他卻不聽(tīng)從，也不聽(tīng)見(jiàn)。
For his thoughts were with the red deer;
因?yàn)樗恍南胫侵获R鹿;
On their tracks his eyes were fastened.
他的眼睛緊盯著他們的足跡。
Leading downward to the river.
