Netanyahu's Likud Party Wins Israeli Election
以色列大選 內塔尼亞胡第四次連任
The voting closed in Benjamin Netanyahu supporters' party. Fears of trailing in the polls were averted. Retaining power now has very strong possibility. With supporters of the rival Zionist union did the same. Denied the lead they hoped for, but far out performing earlier expectaions. With results neck in neck, both leaders declared victory.

Moshe Kahlon's newly formed centre-right party could go either way and he may not make any quick decisions. Another new fact in these elections is the success of the joint Arablist. Their leader unlikely to join the government may nevertheless has the third largest party, unprecedent influence for Arab politician in Israel.

This is a big achievement for our people. We are the surprise with elections. We will with a third power in the parliament without our hands we will prevent the right-wing parties from forming the coming government.

The results so far mean a fourth term as prime minister is within grasp for Benjamin Netanyahu. But to get here, he burnt bridges and how far that is damage to his chances of forming a coalition will determine who ends up the true victor.
