Up to 12 injured after car crashes into Florida daycare

As many as 12 people are injured after a vehicle crashes through an Orlando daycare center. Local media reports that a hit-and-run sent a car into the Goldenrod Road KinderCare Wednesday afternoon. Emergency officials could be seen going in and out of the center. It's unknown how many of the injured are children and how serious the injuries are. Officials are now looking for a silver Dodge Durango believed to have been involved in the initial accident.

Helicopter crashes on New Mexico hospital roof, pilot injured

Firefighters on the scene after a helicopter crash on the roof a New Mexico Hospital. The medevac was attempting to take off when it slammed into concrete. Three people were on board. The pilot, the only one injured, is reportedly in stable condition. Right before the crash, the helicopter had been used to drop of a patient. Eyewitnesses say the helicopter appeared 'wobbly" in the air. The Federal Aviation Authority is investigating.

Student celebration in Iowa turns into chaos

An annual spring tradition at Iowa State University turns the streets into chaos. Students in Ames gathered in the streets early Wednesday, tearing down light poles and street signs. The celebration known as Veishea is a showcase of the university.Police said at least two cars were flipped over.

After putting out fires and about an hour after it started, police were finally able to break up the crowds. Several students were arrested and a handful of others were injured - one seriously.
