World gets first glimpse at royal baby
世人首次目睹劍橋王子風采
Just a day old, Britain's new prince made his debut in the arms of his mother. Beaming, Prince William and Kate stopped outside the hospital to allow the public their first peek at the young royal.
剛剛出世一天的英國小王子在母親懷中首次亮相。面帶笑容，威廉王子和凱特王妃在醫院外駐足，讓公眾首次目睹這位年幼的王室成員的風采。
Prince William saying: "Well, he's got a good pair of lungs on him that's for sure. He's a big boy. He's quite heavy. We are still working on a name and we will have that as soon as we can. But this is the first time we've seen him so we are catching up."

Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge saying: "It's very emotional. Yeah, it's very emotional. It's such a special time. I think any parents, having sort of been though, know what this feeling feels like." Asked who the baby looks like, Prince William had this to say.

Babies who share the royal birthday get silver pennies

July 22nd, 2013. That is the birthday of the new Prince of Cambridge and to celebrate, the Royal Mint has produced special silver pennies for babies born on the same day. The tradition of handing a new born a silver coin is centuries' old and is meant to bring wealth and happiness to the child. Shane Bissett of the Royal Mint.

Royal Mint Director of Commemorative Coin, Shane Bissett saying (English) "We will be gifting two thousand and thirteen coins for people who have their child born on the same day as the royal baby."

The commemorative penny is made from sterling silver opposed to the regular copper-plated steel or bronze coins, and comes in either a blue or pink pouch depending on the gender of the baby. People wanting to claim their coin have 60 days to go to the royal mint's Facebook page and follow the instructions which involve scanning a copy of the new born's birth certificate.
這枚紀念幣由標準純銀打造，而不是常用的銅包鋼或青銅幣，根據嬰兒的性別裝在藍色或粉色的袋子里。想要獲得紀念幣的人們可以登錄皇家鑄幣局Facebook頁面，根據指引來申請，包括掃描新生兒的出生證明。
World Youth Day opens in Brazil

Throngs of Catholics flocked to Rio's iconic Copacabana Beach for the opening mass of the Church's World Youth Day. Some 400,000 worshipers from all over the world withstood the rain and windy weather as the program got underway.
大量天主教徒涌入里約熱內盧標志性的科帕卡巴納灘，等待天主教世界青年日開幕。儀式進行的過程中，來自世界各地的大約400,000名信徒駐足在風雨中。

The week-long event is expected to draw more than one million people anxious to to see Pope Francis. The Pope arrived in Brazil a day before but did not participate in the mass so he could rest ahead of more events later in the week.
