Bangladesh factory owner paraded before media as hope fades for survivors

The owner of a factory building that collapsed in Bangladesh -- killing hundreds of workers -- is paraded in front of the media. After a four-day manhunt, Mohammed Sohel Rana was arrested as he was trying to flee to India. The death toll from the collapsed building now stands at 377 -- and it is expected to move higher. A man is consumed by grief after hearing of his daughter's death. Hundreds are still unaccounted for. Four people were pulled out alive Sunday after they were buried for almost 100 hours. On the street, outrage persists as the hope for more survivors fades.

Japan tests Dreamliner after ban

A Japanese airline sends its first Dreamliner into the skies since a battery malfunction grounded the planes in January. All Nippon Airways was the second airline to test the Boeing 787 Dreamliner after aviation regulators gave the go ahead on Friday. The fleet was grounded three months ago after the batteries on an ANA and a Japan Airlines plane overheated. The company's president was on board the two-hour flight that took off from Tokyo Sunday, as well as Boeing CEO of Commercial Airplanes Ray Conner.

PRESIDENT & CEO OF BOEING COMMERCIAL AIRPLANES, RAY CONNER, SAYING: "After 3 months, it's a terrific feeling to have ANA's 787 back in the air, and I am very pleased to say that it was a perfect flight on a perfect day." Boeing's battery fix has been approved by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. The reinforced batteries are now installed in a sealed enclosure to contain any heat, fumes or flames from overheating. ANA, which owns 17 of the 50 Dreamliners in circulation, plans more than 200 test flights through May before resuming commercial operations in June.

The investigation begins after two police officers are shot outside the Prime Ministers' office in Rome on the day a new Italian government is sworn in. Freelance cameraman Simone Bianchi said he heard two gunshots and saw a man dressed in a gray suit shooting at a policeman.

The shooting came as Enrico Letta's new government was being sworn in less than a mile away at the President's palace. Ansa journalist Federico Garimberti was also at the scene when the shooting happened.

ANSA JOURNALIST, ENRICO GARIMBERTI, SAYING: "It is still too early to say if this is a gesture from an unstable person or if this has been influenced by the political climate but certainly the first day of the government couldn't start in a worse way." Forensic teams continued to gather evidence, trying to find a possible motive for the shooting. Italy's new Interior Minister says it was an isolated act. One police officer was shot in the neck and is in a serious condition. The other officer was hit in the leg. Italian media said a passer-by had also been injured but not seriously. An unemployed man in his 40s was arrested following the shooting.
