TEXT:Good news for the president on the economy. U.S. President Barack Obama saying: "This morning, we found out that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since I took office." A monthly government report showed the jobless rate dropped to 7.8 percent. At a rally in Fairfax, Virginia, the president marked the occasion but also acknowledged there is still work to do. U.S. President Barack Obama saying: "And there are too many middle-class families that are still struggling to pay the bills -- they were struggling long before the crisis hit. But today's news certainly is not an excuse to try to talk down the economy to score a few political points. It's a reminder that this country has come too far to turn back now." The new figures were released on the same day Republican rival Mitt Romney debuted a new campaign commercial criticizing Obama over job losses. Romney had made the president's failure to drive the rate below eight percent a key plank in his campaign. But the latest Reuters/Ipos national poll shows Obama's lead narrowed to two points, leading just 46-44 after a lackluster debate performance earlier this week.

SOUNDBITE: Avital Liebovitch, Spokeswoman for the Israeli military saying: "This morning at approximately 10 o'clock in the morning we have identified an UAV approaching the Israeli air space, we have alerted jets that escorted this UAV and then intercepted it. The three fazes namely detection, identification, and interception were successful and were done and completed in a short time. We are not certain at this point where is the origin of this UAV. However, we are witnessing lately in the region a very big and thriving industry for UAV's and of course we are following those attempts closely." The drone was kept under surveillance and followed by Israeli air force jets before it was shot down above a forest near the border with the occupied West Bank. Forces could be seen seen looking for the aircraft on foot.

3【Thousands of landless poor march in India】數千名無土地的印度窮人游行示威
TEXT:Thousands of landless poor from across India march toward the country's capital, New Delhi. It's part of an effort to step up pressure on India's government, which demonstrators accuse of seizing land from peasants and tribes people. CAMPAIGN LEADER AND MEMBER OF NATIONAL LAND REFORMS COUNCIL, RAJAGOPAL P.V. SAYING: "You take huge quantum of land for the corporate sector and builders but you have no land for the poor people, so this is a discrimination that we want to fight." Some 25,000 people are participating in the 350km march, which started Tuesday in the city of Gwalior. The protesters say they will not give up until the government agrees to a more "fair" distribution of land. MARCH PARTICIPANT, SOONA RAM SAYING: "If the government will not listen to us and not fulfill our demands then we will not come back from Delhi. In any case, we are dying, so we might as well die there." Property has become a major political issue in India, where officials are trying to strike a balance between industry and agriculture.
