三、口譯技巧
1．英漢語序調整
英語狀語可前可后，漢語狀語一般前置。
China's first manned space flight successfully circled the earth 14 times during its 21-hour trip.
中國首次載人航天飛機在21小時的飛行中成功地繞地球14圈。
We are lucky to have returned to the motherland under "One Country, Two Systems" at the time of her rise to power.
香港在國家走向盛事的背景下回歸到祖國的懷抱，實行"一國兩制"，是我們向港人的幸運。
漢語的主語如果前面的修飾語較長或者主語本身由短語或長句構成，譯成英語一般把主語提前，前置定語轉換為英語的定語從句；或者采用形式主語it的方式。
It was a day of historic significance when China completely succeeded in its first manned space flight.
中國首次載人航天飛行取得圓滿成功的日子是一個有著重要歷史意義的日子。（強調句型）
The uneven distribution of science and information between the industrialized and developing countries also raises concern.
工業(yè)化國家(發(fā)達國家)和發(fā)展中國家之間科學和信息技術分配不均衡的問題也值得關注。（2004年11月真題）
It is the expectation of people in HK and unshirkable duty of SAR government to revitalize the economy, improve people's livelihood, improve standards of governance and promote democratic advancement according to Basic Law.
振興經濟、改善民生、改善施政、依照基本法推動香港民主向前發(fā)展，是市民對本屆政府的訴求，也是本屆政府義不容辭的責任。
反之，英語中帶有很長修飾成分的主語或賓語在譯成漢語時，需要將修飾成分提前。

2．意譯（在理解的基礎上靈活翻譯，不能逐字逐句死譯）。
新一屆領導人在今年年初順利產生。
We rejoiced early this year as our new state leaders were inaugurated.
Inaugurate （多用被動語態(tài)）舉行就職典禮、落成儀式
Barak Obama will be inaugurated as the President of the U.S. inJanuary 2009.The new theatre was inaugurated by the mayor.
3．省略法
在一個近十三億人口的國家，能夠使人民的生活達到小康水品，是中華民族發(fā)展歷史上的一個新的里程碑。
Building a well-off society for about 1.3 billion people is an impressive landmark in the history of the Chinese nation.

4．長句拆分法 + 增詞法
我們偉大的祖國，堅定不移地沿著一條正確、成功地路線，// 以更加積極的姿態(tài)，更大的規(guī)模和更高的水平持續(xù)發(fā)展，//用中國人的勤勞，勇敢和智慧，為十三億人的福祉，為人類文明的進步，書寫更加輝煌的篇章。
這是一個段落句，可拆分為兩個或三個英文句子。
Our great motherland is marching unswervingly/steadfastly on the path to success. // Future development will be even more ambitious in approach, more massive in scale and more exacting in its standards. // With the assiduity, courage and wisdom of the Chinese people, we are about to write a new and even more brilliant chapter in the lives of our 1.3 billion countrymen and the advancement of human civilization. //
（拆分成三句） 由于長句被拆分，需要第三個句子中添加主語"我們"。
Our great motherland is marching unswervingly/steadfastly on the path to success with greater ambition to develop economy in a more massive scale and at a higher level. // With the assiduity, courage and wisdom of the Chinese people, we are about to write a new and even more brilliant chapter in the lives of our 1.3 billion countrymen and the advancement of human civilization. // （拆分成兩句）
