Hi,大家好。歡迎可可網(wǎng)友們做客影音時尚口語。關(guān)于彗星或小行星撞地球的說法大家都不陌生了。現(xiàn)在普遍認同6500萬年前的一次撞擊，有可能導致了地球上包括恐龍在內(nèi)70%以上的物種滅絕。電影《天地大沖撞》也是美國災難大片中的經(jīng)典之作。與2012不同的是，這次地球面臨的災難是可逆轉(zhuǎn)的。由美、俄聯(lián)合制造的飛船“彌塞亞”號登陸彗星，試圖用核裝置引爆彗星或者使它偏離原來的軌道。但由于對彗星結(jié)構(gòu)分析的不夠，爆炸使彗星分成大小兩塊仍繼續(xù)飛向地球。小塊彗星最終撞上地球，造成慘烈的損失。但大的一塊才足以讓地球生物毀滅。最后的危機時刻，幾名宇航員義無反顧的駕著飛船撞向大彗星塊，拯救了地球拯救了人類。下面就讓我們來聽聽劫后余生的感慨和感恩。

The waters reached as far inland as the Ohio and Tennessee valleys.

在這一段簡短的演講辭中用到了很多以less結(jié)尾的單詞。比如，被撞碎的彗星在大氣層里burned harmlessly. Harm, 傷害，harmless無害的，再加上副詞詞綴ly，就可以用來修飾動詞了。隨后說Millions were lost. Countless more left homeless. Millions, Millions of people的縮略形式，上百萬的人失蹤了。Countless more，count數(shù)數(shù)，計數(shù)，countless無法計數(shù)的，無法計算的。也就是還有更多數(shù)不清的人是homeless的。Homeless, 無家可歸的。
雖然we were left with the devastation，be left with，遺留給我們的是devastation，極度的破壞，但是，大部分人得以幸存，而幸存的人們能做的應(yīng)該做的就是rebuilt。重建。因為生命是被regiven再一次賜予的。對于以前綴re開頭的詞大家都不陌生了。不過演講中的rejoice不是這樣的用法，它就是一個表示“高興，歡喜”的動詞。再比如：They all rejoiced to hear the happy news. 他們都很樂于聽到這個令人高興的消息。
演講辭中使用排比，特別是三項排比是一種非常常見的修辭手段，借此抒發(fā)強烈的情感。比如本片中對逝去的宇航員總統(tǒng)用了這樣的三項排比：We honor them with every brick we lay, with every field we sow, with every child we comfort. 我們每鋪一塊磚，每耕一畝田，每照料一個兒童，都能夠供奉他們的英靈。
領(lǐng)袖們在演講中使用排比更是幾乎無一例外的。古羅馬的凱撒說， I came; I saw; I conquer. 我來了；我看見；我征服。氣勢磅礴，鏗鏘有力。克林頓的演講辭中也有：But no president, no Congress, no government, can undertake this mission alone. 任何總統(tǒng)，任何國會，任何政府都不能單獨完成這一使命。
再比如，布什曾用三個介詞短語排比，三個名詞排比精辟地概括他采取行動的指導原則： We must act on what we know. I take as my guide the hope of a saint: in crucial things—unity; in important things—diversity; in all things, generosity. 在具有決定意義的事情上，要團結(jié)；在重大事情上，要聽取不同意見；在一切事情上要寬宏大量。
美國災難大片我們就暫時欣賞到這里吧。除去電影中的意識形態(tài)不談，對于人類命運的關(guān)懷和思考到的確是我們每個人都不該回避的。畢竟珍惜擁有才是幸福之源。
