在doing a lot of thinking，做了相當一番思考之后，Charlie向Sally表白了自己的感情，但突如其來的愛讓Sally一時無法接受，情急的Charlie說Doesn't what I said mean anything? 在之前的兩部電影里都有類似這樣的否定一般疑問句出現。它的作用是強調和烘托感情。這里我們不再多說。Sally對這句話得反應是，可能因為過節，格外覺得孤單，導致Harry說出了言不由衷的話。但不管怎么說不能expect that to make it all right? 指望一切問題都不存在，一切都變好。make something all right，讓某事變得順利，變好。例如：I'm gonna make it all right, but not right now ! 我會讓這一切轉好，但不是現在！再比如：Love makes everything all right. 愛讓一切都對勁兒了。
