Injured soldiers marry at Kiev's military hospital

This blushing bride is getting ready to marry the man of her dreams -- within hospital walls. Kiev's military hospital wasn't Olena's first choice for a venue. But her fiance was wounded in battle with pro-Russian rebels in Eastern Ukraine.
(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) BRIDE, OLENA MAKSYMENKO, SAYING: "The first day I saw him laying on the bed, I made the decision. I told him, honey, let's get married in the military hospital. He asked me whether I wanted it indeed. I said I wished it a lot and there were no doubts." The two love-birds shared the occasion with another couple in a similar situation. Barely able to lift his head, Oleksandr was elated to tie the knot. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) GROOM, OLEKSANDR PONOMARIOV, SAYING: "I feel perfect. I have the most beautiful bride, the most beautiful wife. It's true indeed." Sealed with a kiss, these wounded soldiers made their solemn vows. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) BRIDE, OLENA PRUSOVSKA, SAYING: "I am crazy about him. And I will love him till my last breath." And with that, a toast as husband and wife.
