Rio's Maracana Stadium holds test evacuation ahead of World Cup

As Rio de Janeiro prepares to host its first World Cup match, emergency services are testing evacuation plans. On the ground,and in the air, officials simulate evacuations Saturday for both an unattended bag and an injured player extraction. A helicopter highway landing halts traffic as FIFA officials, firefighters, volunteers and other security forces gather outside the stadium. Officials are stressing the complexity of the operation.

The military police and the fire-fighters already have a lot of experience carrying out operations in the stadium, but we wanted to integrate these public services with the stewards and those working for private companies, which also come into our planning."

NATS "Matt, will you have Jose Fernando to be your husband..." Matt Schreck and his partner were the first to get married at the Milwaukee County courthouse, which stayed open late to wed 66 couples.

Wisconsin is the latest in a number of states to overturn gay marriage bans. But it's not without controversy. State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen issued a statement saying he planned to appeal the ruling and defend traditional marriage.

Kerry expresses confidence on Ukraine situation

At his family's ancestral hometown in France, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry honors three fallen soldiers in the latest D-Day commemoration. But while he pays his respects in Saint-Briac-Sur-Mer, Kerry's paying close attention to events elsewhere, specifically Ukraine.

Kerry's comments come on the heels of the inauguration of President Petro Poroshenko. Poroshenko has pledged to seek peace in his country's east, but pro-Russian separatists have indicated they want no part in a unified Ukraine.
