Peng visits Indonesian cultural organization in Jakarta

President Xi Jinping’s wife Peng Liyuan has visited an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Indonesian culture in Jakarta.

Peng Liyuan was welcomed by local children who played the traditional Indonesian musical instrument, Angklung. She then went to an exhibition showcasing Indonesia’s national products. Peng was showed the nation’s traditional sword, puppets, and handicrafts.

Peng said both China and Indonesia have splendid culture, and the two sides should strengthen exchanges and learn from each other.
