The company announced over the weekend that it had sold whey protein products that contained bacteria which could cause botulism. The contaminated products, including infant milk powder, had been sold to companies in China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. The company said it has launched two separate investigations into the incident and how it was handled. So far the company said there have been no reduction in supply contracts. The potentially effected products were removed from store shelves earlier this week.
