一.learn：v.學(xué)會(huì), 學(xué)習(xí), 得知
【詞義辨析】
1.know, learn, comprehend, understand
這些動(dòng)詞都含“懂、知道、明了”之意。
know普通用詞，多指通過學(xué)習(xí)、經(jīng)驗(yàn)或他人傳播而得到知識(shí)，含直接知道的意味。
learn通常指通過他人而獲得消息或情況，側(cè)重從不知到知的變化過程。
comprehend側(cè)重熟悉了解的過程。
understand指對事物已有徹底的認(rèn)識(shí)，不僅知其性質(zhì)、含義和細(xì)節(jié)，而且了解其內(nèi)外的關(guān)系。
2.learn, study
這兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞均含“學(xué)習(xí)”之意。
learn常指一般性的學(xué)習(xí)，尤指初級階段的學(xué)習(xí)，表示摹仿實(shí)踐的過程；著重成果時(shí)，作“學(xué)會(huì)”解。
study著重指學(xué)習(xí)過程和高深的或周密的研究，尤指從書本上學(xué)習(xí)。
【例句用法】
Write out this word ten times so that you learn how to spell it.
把這個(gè)字抄寫十遍就能記住怎麼拼寫了。
It's more useful to learn modern languages, such as English and German, than Latin.
學(xué)習(xí)英語和德語等現(xiàn)代語言比學(xué)習(xí)拉丁語更為有用。
二.notice：vt.注意, 留心, 通知 n.通知, 注意, 布告
【語法用法】
notice作名詞表示“通知”時(shí)，短語at short notice中的at在美式英語中可用on代替；
give notice或have notice一般指離職或遷讓的通知：
當(dāng)后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠詞a。
He gave me a notice to leave by the end of the week.
他通知我要在這周結(jié)束前離開。
give notice后面也可跟that從句。
The tenant gave notice that he was going to move on the first day of the next month.
這個(gè)房客通知說他會(huì)在下個(gè)月的第一天搬走。
notice作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，后可跟不含to的不定式，但用在被動(dòng)語態(tài)中時(shí)，不定式中一定要含to。
I noticed a boy come out of the house.
A boy was noticed to come out of the house.
notice后還可以跟現(xiàn)在分詞，強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作過程。
I noticed a boy coming out of the house.
我無意間看到一個(gè)男孩正從房子里出來。
【錯(cuò)句舉例與錯(cuò)句分析】
錯(cuò)句: Did you notice the little boy to take the candy and run away?
訂正: Did you notice the little boy take the candy and run away?
翻譯: 你有沒有注意到一個(gè)小男孩拿了糖果逃跑了？
分析: notice作動(dòng)詞后面跟無to的不定式，有類似用法的動(dòng)詞還有see/hear/watch。
【詞義辨析】
notice, note, mind, attend, remark
這些動(dòng)詞均含“注意”之意。
notice指對所見、所聞、所感的人或事作出的反應(yīng)，側(cè)重結(jié)果。
note語氣比notice強(qiáng)，指不僅注意到，而且記錄下來，側(cè)重注意的認(rèn)真與仔細(xì)。
mind指用心地去觀察，了解某人或某物以達(dá)到某一目的，常用于命令句中。
attend一般用詞，側(cè)重專心于某事。
remark一般指經(jīng)過思維活動(dòng)而注意到。
