TEXT:China's swimming sensation Ye Shiwen, swimmer threatens to overshadow Michael Phelps's bid to become the most decorated Olympian of all time. On Tuesday, the 16-year old won the gold medal in 200 meter individual medley. On Saturday she took the gold in the 400 meter individual medley -- breaking the world record....and actually swimming faster than men's times in the last 50 meters of the race. Some say it is too good to be true -- questioning whether doping is involvedIOC MEDICAL COMMISSION CHAIRMAN ARNE LJUNGQVIST, SAYING: "Should I have my suspicions I keep them for myself, myself first of all and take any action if so in order to find out whether something is wrong or not. You ask me specifically about this particular swimmer - I say no, I haven't personally any reason to other than applaud what has happened until I have further facts, if so." China has vehemently rejected suggestions of doping. China briefly dominated women's swimming in the 1990s but their reign ended as fast as it began, following a series of doping scandals which included seven positive tests at the 1994 Asian Games. 2【French troops prepare for Afghan withdrawal】法國軍隊為從阿富汗撤軍做準備
TEXT:Transport helicopters head for Afghanistan's Surobi Forward Operating Base. French soldiers are pulling out of the base, and this video - released by the French Army - shows soldiers packing up military equipment and preparing for it to be moved from the base. French President Fran?ois Hollande visited Afghanistan in May to defend his plan for accelerating France's withdrawal of its roughly 3,400 troops to the end of this year, breaking with NATO's timetable for departure. 2,000 French troops are due to leave this year, but some will remain to provide support and training, and to look after equipment. France has 14 helicopters, 900 vehicles and 1,400 containers that need to be taken out. Most foreign combat troops are set to pull out by the end of 2014. Travis Brecher, Reuters

On the next stopover in Israel, he angered Palestinian leaders by calling Jerusalem the Israeli capital and saying cultural differences made Israel more successful economically than the Palestinians. 4【Old panda has successful birth】年老母熊貓順利產子
TEXT:Zookeepers in San Diego, California are witnessing a miracle. Bai Yun is 20-years-old and in labor, which makes her the second oldest panda to deliver a cub. Veterinarian Meg Sutherland-Smith was relieved that the risky birth was a success. Meg Sutherland-Smith, associate director of veterinary services, San Diego Zoo, saying (English): "I was so happy. I was very concerned that either the cub was going to be premature or that there were going to be issues and that we weren't going to have a viable cub. I've had sighs of relief, many many sighs of relief. We prepared. We were down here and had everything prepared if we had to intervene with a compromised cub, we had pretty much everything thing set up to try to deal with that. So it was great to know that we didn't have to use all that stuff." This is the sixth giant panda cub to be born at the San Diego Zoo, all from Bai Yun, making the animal park the largest breeding facility outside of China. Kilmeny Duchardt, Reuters.
