3. Please turn off the power.
請把電源關掉.
Turn on 跟 turn off 算是最常見到把電源打開和把電源關上的字眼了。例如你可以說 "Could you help me turn on the microwave?" (能不能幫我打開微波爐？) 或是 "Please turn off the power before you leave." (請在離開前把電源關掉。) Turn on 和 turn off 是一對很好用的片語，務必熟記。
但是如果今天換成另一種情況，我想說∶「不要關掉，讓它一直開著。」這句話要怎麼講呢？很簡單，你可以說 leave the power on 或是再偷懶一點說 leave it on。比方你回家前可以交代同事， "Just leave the printer on when you leave." (你們走的時候不要關掉印表機，讓它一直開著好了。)
