【瘋狂講解】
“sleep on sth.”意思是：“徹夜思考；再三權(quán)衡” ，這絕對是個五星級的成語，很多英語學(xué)習(xí)了多年的人也未必對它的用法有很深入的了解。它聽起來有點像中文中帶諷刺的意味的“墊高枕頭想一想”，不過，像歸像，“sleep on sth.”卻絲毫沒有諷刺的意味！下面我再給出兩個例句：
* I don’t know whether I agree to do it. I’ll sleep on it.
我不知道是不是會同意這樣干。讓我回去好好想一想。
* We’re all tired and none of us can think straight so why don’t we go
home and sleep on it, eh?
我們都累了，誰也想不清楚，所以我們何不回家去想一想呢？

“convenient”是一個重要的美語詞匯！當(dāng)你與別人預(yù)約時，你總要問“When is convenient for you（你什么時間方便）”或“What is your earliest convenient time（你最快什么時間方便）”，等等。
