I am completing my duty as Chinese Ambassador to the United States. I came to assume office?in?2021?at a time of severe challenges for China-US relations.
我即將結(jié)束中國駐美大使任期。前年到任時，中美關(guān)系面臨著諸多嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn)。
During my tenure here, I have been working to implement the common understandings of our two Presidents, serve as a bridge and bond of communication between the two countries, and explore the right way to get along for China and the US in the new era.
到任以來，我認(rèn)真落實(shí)兩國元首共識，努力做中美之間溝通的橋梁和紐帶，致力于探索中美之間正確的相處之道。
I want to pay sincere thanks to the people of the United States for the strong support and assistance given to me and the Chinese Embassy during this period.
在此期間，我本人和駐美使館得到了美國各界人民的大力支持和幫助。對此，我表示衷心感謝。
In the past 500+ days, I have visited 22 states. I went to government agencies, Congress, think tanks, enterprises, factories, ports, farms, schools and sport fields, and made many friends across the US.
在過去的500多天，我訪問了美國22個州，足跡遍布政府、國會、智庫、企業(yè)、車間、碼頭、農(nóng)田、學(xué)校、球場，交了很多朋友。
I have been deeply impressed by so many hard-working, friendly and talented American people that I met.
美國人民的勤勞、熱情和友善深深地感染了我。
What's past is prologue. Going forward, I will continue to care about and support the growth of China-US relations, encourage dialogue, mutual understanding and affinity between the two peoples,?work for mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation between our two countries, and make my due efforts for the wellbeing of the two peoples and for world peace, stability and development.
凡是過往，皆為序章。我將一如既往地關(guān)心支持中美關(guān)系發(fā)展，推進(jìn)中美對話交流和人民相知相親，推動兩國實(shí)現(xiàn)相互尊重、和平共處、合作共贏，為兩國人民福祉和世界和平、穩(wěn)定和發(fā)展做出應(yīng)盡努力。
