Good evening, it is a great honour and privilege for me to stand before you and to warmly welcome you to the Opening Ceremony of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games.
晚上好！非常榮幸能夠站在這里，誠摯的歡迎你們來到第一屆青奧會開幕式現場。
Tonight, we witness the birth of the Youth Olympic Games and share with the world this historic moment. Tonight, we welcome 3,600 Young Olympians to Singapore; and over the next 12 days we will witness these outstanding talents from the 204 National Olympic Committees compete in 26 Olympic sports.
今晚，我們一同見證青年奧林匹克運動會的誕生，與全世界共同分享這一歷史時刻。今晚，我們歡迎3600名青年奧林匹克運動員來到新加坡。在接下來的12天中，我們將共同見證來自204個國家和地區奧委會的優秀運動員們在26個比賽大項中展現風采。
