1.speak to：和......講話

Ps：動詞性短語

Exp. To是介詞，它后面一般接表示人的名詞或代詞。它后面也可以接事物，意思是“針對某事情而說話”。

Eg. I want tospeak to her in the matter ofmy salary.

我想跟她談談我的薪水問題。

Eg. Pleasespeak to the subjectunder discussion.

請針對討論的問題發言。

2.pitch gets：好的提議，好的主意

Ps：名詞性短語

Exp. pitch是指“高音”，get在這里是做名詞，意思是“獲取物”。在這里是取其比喻義，比喻為“好的主意或提議”等等。

3.turn into：變成

Ps：動詞性短語

Exp. Into是介詞，它后面可以接名詞或代詞或名詞性短語等。

Eg. We saw their hopeturn into a snare, and their rejoicing into weeping.

4.can't believe：簡直不敢相信，真不敢相信

6.used to：過去常常......

Ps：動詞性短語

Exp. 表示“過去常常做某事”的意思。to在這里是動詞不定式的標示，所以后面跟動詞原形，不是介詞。如果作為介詞的話，它是形容詞性短語，與系動詞be或者是get連用，后面要接動名詞，意思是“習慣于......”。

Eg. The old professorused to digressfrom his subject for a moment to tell his students a funny story.

老教授過去常常暫時離開一下話題,給學生們講一個有趣的故事。

Eg. Fatherused to takeme for a walk after supper.

7.make fun of：取笑，奚落，嘲弄

Exp. of是介詞，它在這個短語中后面接表示人的名詞或代詞，也可以接物。

Exp. about是介詞，后面可以接名詞或代詞或動名詞短語，或者是賓語從句等。
