-Sheldon: Not technically.

In Hinduism, cattle are thought to be like god.

（Raj是印度人，但由于Sheldon自認為是專家，他經常對Raj講解印度的宗教及文化，或糾正他的錯誤，這一點一直令Raj十分惱火）

注釋：

在印度，牛是主神濕婆的坐騎，超過80%的印度人都是印度教徒，敬牛如敬神，每頭牛背上似乎都乘坐著濕婆神，巡視著印度大地，那種神圣的宗教感情確實很難用世俗的眼光來理解。印度雖然早已是政教分離的現代國家，但宗教在政治生活中仍然有著莫大的影響力，以往的一些暴力沖突與宗教紛爭不無關系。圣雄甘地曾說過：“牛是印度千百萬人的母親。古代的圣賢，不論是誰，都來自牛。”

swear to God 是一個固定用法，意思是“對天發誓”，God 即“上帝”。在這里，Raj把大家常說的"I swear to God" 改成了"I swear to cow"，是基于上文中他們說道在印度教里，牛(cow)就是上帝。并且cow和God讀音很相似，因此他用了cow而不是cattle。
