【詞義辨析】eatable, edible
這一對詞都可以用作形容詞和名詞，都有“可吃的”詞義，但涵義有細微的差異。
eatable: 源出于古英語etan；表示“可吃的”、“能吃的”，但“可吃”、“能吃”并不等于“食物可口和好吃”，例如食品不夠新鮮或燒得太生太熟時，也是something eatable.
These bananas are over-ripe but they are eatable.
這些香蕉長得太熟，可是還是可以吃的。
