no strings: 沒有限制，沒有附加條件，完整的說法是no strings attached. 用在這里就是說Serena和男友Gabrielle雖然談戀愛，但是對雙方既沒有承諾也沒有要求，來去自由。
carry away: to move or excite greatly
it doesn't count: 那不算數(shù)，意思是S的那段酒后宣誓的婚姻無效。

goad: 本意是趕牲口用的刺棒，引申含義就是刺激某人做某事

redneck: 這是對美國南方勞動農(nóng)民的一種貶義稱呼，相當于說他們是“南方鄉(xiāng)下人”，B之前聽說Gabrielle來自于南方，就一直說“那個南方人如何如何”。
catch someone red-handed: 當場活捉，這里B是特地用了兩個red來玩了一把文字游戲
