207.學生會會議
The student advisory committee struggled for hours over whether to open a new students' lounge in the student center.
學生顧問委員會就是否在學生中心建一個新的學生休息室斗爭了好幾個小時。
Everyone said that they wanted one, but no one seemed to know how to raise the money.
大家都說想要一個，可是誰都不知道如何籌這筆錢。
So they brainstormed about fundraising events. There were a lot of good ideas. One person suggested selling old stuffed animals.
因此他們就募捐的事進行了頭腦風暴。好點子還真不少。有人建議把那些舊的填充動物玩具賣了。
But that was not quite the image that the student government wanted to strive for-earning money from old teddy bears!
但那不太符合學生會努力想樹立的形象——用舊玩具熊換錢！
So they passed on that idea! The best idea was from a person who was the main representative to the students's council.
因此他們放棄了那個想法！最好的點子是學生會的一個重要代表想出來的。
She suggested designing special student cards to replace the normal student ID.
她建議設計一種特殊的學生證代替普通學生證。
Then each student would have to pay a special “development fee” that would go directly towards paying for projects chosen by the students' government,

such as building a new students' lounge! A lot of people liked this idea immediately.

Others didn't want to force students to pay anything! So they discussed how to give student discounts to certain people for the new cards,

which students' associations wouldn't have to pay, how to hire a studio assistant to help design the card, and other stuff like that!
哪些學生團體不用交費，如何聘請美術室助理幫著搞設計，以及其他諸如此類的事情！
The meeting went on twice as long as usual! In the end, they decided to go with the idea and, instead of hiring someone, hold a contest for the best design.
開會時間比平時多了一倍！最后他們決定接受這樣一個方案：不找專業人員設計，而是通過舉辦比賽選出最優秀的作品。
Then they could hold a students' exhibition in the old study lounge and have everyone vote for their favorite! The meeting was finally over!
這樣他們就可以在原來的自習室舉辦學生作品展覽，讓大家評選出他們最喜愛的作品！這次會議終于結束了！
