65.公司里的兄弟
"So what are you going to do about Jack?"
"你準(zhǔn)備對(duì)杰克采取什么行動(dòng)？"
Kelly asked Tom as she was doing her hair in the bathroom.
凱利一邊在衛(wèi)生間整理頭發(fā)一邊問湯姆。
"Well，I guess I'll have to do away with him!"
"嗯，我想我得開掉他！"
Tom replied as he came into the bathroom to do his teeth at the same time.
湯姆問答道，他也進(jìn)到衛(wèi)生間準(zhǔn)備刷牙。
"He's become quite a nuisance in the office.
"他在辦公室已經(jīng)非常討人厭。
Always doing his own thing，never doing his best.
他總是按自己的意愿行事，從來都不盡最大的努力。
It's really too bad though, he was doing such a good job in the beginning!"
真是太糟糕了，可開始的時(shí)候他卻干得那么出色！"
"You mean before he started doing damage to your equipment?"
"你是說在他損壞你的設(shè)備之前嗎？"
Yeah! That's when it started.
是的！他就是從那個(gè)時(shí)候開始變的。
I had to relieve him of a couple of his duties and he didn't take the new division of labor well.
我不得不解除他的一些職務(wù)，他對(duì)新的工作分配有意見。
I just wish I could do more than just fire him," Tom frowned. "He is, after all, my brother!"
我真希望我能做的不僅僅是開除他。"湯姆皺起了眉頭。"畢竟他是我的兄弟！ "
"I know," Kelly sighed."
"我知道。"凱利嘆道。
But you have to do your duty to your company, especially before he does harm to your reputation!

Isn't there some way that you could move him to another position where he doesn't relate to anyone?
沒有辦法把他調(diào)到另外一個(gè)職位，讓他不跟任何人發(fā)生關(guān)系？
Or get into any trouble? You know, maybe send him out to do business with outside retailers?"
或者不讓他闖禍嗎？你知道，也許可以把他派出去讓他和外面的零售商做生意？ "
"Hey, That's not a bad idea! I could have him do duty for our promotions department!
"嘿，這個(gè)主意不錯(cuò)！我可以讓他在我們的推廣部門做事！
Then he could work out on the road where he would have to rise or fall on his own!
那樣的話他 就可以在路上工作了，是升是降就完全靠他自己啦！
If he would want to succeed he would have to do it himself! Great, that's what I'll do!
如果他想成功，他就得親力親為！太好了，就這么辦！
I think I can even make it seem like a move up for him!"
我想我甚至還可以讓他覺得好像是高升了！"
Tom leaned over and gave his wife a kiss.
湯姆靠過去給了妻子一個(gè)吻。
"Thanks honey, you're the best!"
"謝謝你，親愛的，你是最棒的！ "
