Every student likes vacations．Some of them prefer several short vacations throughout the year，since theycan have a rest now and then．But others would like to have one long vacation each year，because theywant to budget abundant time freely．As a result，there have been many arguments on this topic．From mypoint of view，it is advisable for the students to have several short vacations．
每名學(xué)生都喜歡假期。許多學(xué)生更喜歡短假期，這樣，他們可以得到休整。但是，其他學(xué)生喜歡長假期，因為這樣他們可以充分利用業(yè)余時間。因此，對于這一話題人們有著不同的觀點。我認(rèn)為，
Among countless factors which influence my viewpoints，there are three conspicuous aspects as follows．In the first place，short vacations set the students free from the burdensome study every now and then，whichis beneficial for both of their physical and mental health．During the school life，rest is necessary．Appropriate relaxation refreshes students and gives them enough motivation and energy to continue learning．As the saying goes，all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy．But the rest should be reasonable．A long vacation will do harm to the condition of the students，and too much free time will make students become lazy，instead of helping them．In the second place，having short vacations is to the advantage of the study continuity．We all know that study is the most important task for the students．If students have a long vacation，they will leave school， which is the best study environment，for a too long time Owing to their limited self－educated ability and knowledge，most students cannot study systematically orregularly．
影響觀點的因素很多，總共有三點原因。首先，短假期會讓學(xué)生減輕學(xué)習(xí)的壓力，這對他們的身心健康都是有益的。對于在學(xué)校生活，休息是必不可少的。適當(dāng)?shù)男菹⒛軌蜃寣W(xué)生得到放松，并給予他們足夠的動力繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)。就像老話所說，只學(xué)不玩，聰明的人也會變傻。但是，休息也是有度的。長假期對學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)不利，太多的空閑時間會讓學(xué)生變得懶惰，這反而會害了他們。第二，短假期對繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)有利。我們都知道學(xué)習(xí)是學(xué)生最重要的任務(wù)。如果學(xué)生獲得了長假期，他們就將離開學(xué)校，學(xué)校是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的最好場所，這樣，他們將遠(yuǎn)離學(xué)校很長時間。由于他們有限的自學(xué)能力，絕大部分的學(xué)生不能夠系統(tǒng)，或是有規(guī)律的進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。
At last they may not study well，and even forget what they have learned in the previous period，while short vacations will not influence the teaching arrangement．What’s more，short vacations will allow the students to review and summarize the knowledge on their own．Students learn new knowledge at school， andthey need their own time to think over and understand it truly．At school the teachers have their teaching plans，and will not stop to wait for a particular student．So the short vacations should be made good use of．They are opportunities for the students to review and learn by themselves．
至少，他們不會學(xué)習(xí)出色，甚至?xí)z忘他們之前所學(xué)習(xí)的知識，然而，短期假期也不會影響老師的教學(xué)計劃。更重要的是，短假期將會提供給學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)，并自己總結(jié)知識的時間。學(xué)生要在校學(xué)習(xí)新知識，他們也需要自己來真正思考知識。在學(xué)校，老師有自己的教學(xué)計劃，老師并不會因為某個學(xué)生而改變。所以，學(xué)生應(yīng)該好好利用短假期。短假期是學(xué)生自己復(fù)習(xí)的很好機(jī)會。
To sum up，students should have several short vacations throughout the year instead of having a long vacation each year．From the perspective of the students’physical and mental health，study continuity and self－learning，we can see that short vacations will help students to learn better．
總結(jié)，學(xué)生應(yīng)該有許多短假期，而不是有長假期。從學(xué)生的身心發(fā)展的角度考慮，學(xué)習(xí)需要有持續(xù)性，也需要有自學(xué)的過程，我們認(rèn)為短假期將幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)更好。
