US President Donald Trump has signaled a potential U-turn on his trade war with China, saying the high tariffs on Chinese goods will "come down substantially, but it won't be zero."
美國總統唐納德·特朗普暗示，他與中國的貿易戰可能會出現180度大轉彎，他表示，對中國商品的高關稅將“大幅下降，但不會為零”。
"145 percent is very high. It won't be that high, it's not going to be that high… it won't be anywhere near that high," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
特朗普在橢圓形辦公室對記者說，“145%是非常高的。不會有那么高的……它將大幅下降。”
"We're going to be very nice. They're going to be very nice, and we'll see what happens. But ultimately, they have to make a deal because otherwise they're not going to be able to deal in the United States," Trump said, referring to China.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told a private meeting of investors in Washington on Tuesday that he expects a "de-escalation" in the trade war between the US and China, according to multiple reports.
特朗普的言論是對美國財長貝森特22日早些時候言論的回應。貝森特表示，高關稅是不可持續的，他預計“世界上兩大經濟體之間的‘貿易戰’將會緩和”。
"China has repeatedly stated its solemn position on the tariff issue. Tariff and trade wars have no winner. China does not want to fight these wars but is not scared of them. Let me stress that if the US truly wants to resolve the issue through dialogue and negotiation, it should stop maximum pressure and capricious and destructive behavior. This never works with China. For any dialogue to happen, they must be based on equality, respect and mutual benefit. If the US is determined to fight a tariff and trade war, China's response will continue to the end."
中方已多次闡述在關稅問題上的嚴正立場，關稅戰、貿易戰沒有贏家，中方不愿打，但也不怕打。林劍強調，如果美方真的想通過對話談判解決問題，就應該停止極限施壓，胡作非為，中國從來不吃這一套。任何對話都必須建立在平等尊重互惠的基礎上，如果美方執意打關稅戰、貿易戰，中方必將奉陪到底。“
"China is a responsible country. We've taken countermeasures against the bullying behavior of the US, not only to safeguard our legitimate rights and interests, but also to uphold international rules and order, the common interests of countries in the world, and international fairness and justice. In the face of US hegemony and bullying, remember this: give the bully an inch, he will take a mile."

若美繼續玩弄關稅數字游戲，中方將不予理會。若美執意繼續實質性侵害中方權益，中方將堅決反制，奉陪到底。
