Lei Jun, CEO and chairman of Xiaomi Corp, said at the sidelines of the ongoing two sessions on Wednesday that "Over the past 15 years, Xiaomi has deeply understood that technological innovation is the cornerstone of progress."
周三，小米公司首席執(zhí)行官兼董事長(zhǎng)雷軍在正在進(jìn)行的兩會(huì)期間表示：“在過(guò)去的15年里，小米深刻地認(rèn)識(shí)到技術(shù)創(chuàng)新是進(jìn)步的基石。”
"Five years ago, we committed to investing heavily in core technologies, setting a goal to spend 100 billion yuan ($13.8 billion) on research and development. Today, we have exceeded that target, investing about 105 billion yuan."
“當(dāng)時(shí)我們就規(guī)劃了5年要投1000億，現(xiàn)在5年過(guò)去了，我們大約投了1050億元。同時(shí)，我們產(chǎn)品的銷量也表明，全球用戶越來(lái)越認(rèn)可中國(guó)科技創(chuàng)新的價(jià)值。”
Lei also expressed gratitude to Beijing, calling it a "fertile ground" for Xiaomi's growth. He reaffirmed Xiaomi's commitment to innovation and high-end development, stating, "Manufacturing is the foundation of China's strength. As both a builder and beneficiary of this sector, Xiaomi will continue to innovate, integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into our products, and contribute to China's path to modernization while enhancing consumers' lives through technology."
雷軍還對(duì)北京表示感謝，稱北京是小米成長(zhǎng)的“沃土”。他重申了小米對(duì)創(chuàng)新和高端發(fā)展的承諾，表示：“制造業(yè)是中國(guó)實(shí)力的基礎(chǔ)。作為這一領(lǐng)域的建設(shè)者和受益者，小米將繼續(xù)創(chuàng)新，將前沿人工智能技術(shù)融入我們的產(chǎn)品中，并通過(guò)技術(shù)改善消費(fèi)者的生活，為中國(guó)的現(xiàn)代化道路做出貢獻(xiàn)。”
