The official website for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) shows that Hua Chunying has been appointed as the secretary-general of the Secretariat of China-CEEC Cooperation.
中國—中東歐國家合作官網顯示，華春瑩已任中國—中東歐國家合作秘書處秘書長。
Born in 1970 in Huaian, Jiangsu province, Hua graduated from Nanjing University and currently holds the position of vice-minister of China's Foreign Ministry.
官方信息顯示：華春瑩，女，漢族，1970年4月生，大學畢業，中共黨員，外交部部黨委委員、副部長。
The Secretariat of China-CEEC Cooperation is a Chinese institution under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. Its functions cover preparation for and staging of major events such as the Leaders' Summits and National Coordinators' Meeting, as well as the follow-up actions, coordinating and organizing activities of mechanisms such as the Economic and Trade Forum, and coordination and communication for other matters of China-CEEC Cooperation.
據介紹，中國—中東歐國家合作秘書處是中方機構，設在中國外交部，負責協調中國—中東歐國家領導人會晤、國家協調員會議等重大活動的籌備、舉辦和成果落實，協調組織經貿論壇等各類合作機制活動，以及溝通協調中國—中東歐國家合作其他各類事宜。秘書處設秘書長、執行秘書長、副秘書長。秘書處辦公室設在外交部歐洲司，負責處理日常事務。
