"Your task, O Computer ..." began Fook.	“你的任務，電腦……”福克開始說。
"No, wait a minute, this isn't right," said Lunkwill, worried. "We distinctly designed this computer to be the greatest one ever and we're not making do with second best. "The Milliard Gargantubrain?" said Deep Thought with unconcealed contempt. "A mere abacus — mention it not."	“十億巨型腦？”深思以一種絲毫不加掩飾的輕蔑口吻說，“它充其量也就是一把算盤而已一一不足掛齒?！?/td>
"And are you not," said Fook leaning anxiously forward, "a greater analyst than the Googleplex Star Thinker in the Seventh Galaxy of Light and Ingenuity which can calculate the trajectory of every single dust particle throughout a five-week Dangrabad Beta sand blizzard?"	“難道你不是，”?？苏f，一邊緊張地前傾著身體，“比‘GoogIe星際思想者’——那臺能夠計算出丹格拉班德貝塔星上一場持續5個星期的沙塵暴中每一顆單獨的沙塵的運行軌跡的電腦更強人的分析家嗎？”
"A five-week sand blizzard?" said Deep Thought haughtily. "You ask this of me who have contemplated the very vectors of the atoms in the Big Bang itself? Molest me not with this pocket calculator stuff."	“一場持續5個星期的沙塵暴？”深思傲慢地說，“你難道不想問問我宇宙大爆炸那一刻所有原子的確定矢量嗎？請別拿這種袖珍計算器的弱智問題來煩我了。”
The two programmers sat in uncomfortable silence for a moment. Then Lunkwill leaned forward again.	兩個程序員沉默了一會兒，感到如坐針氈。朗克維爾終于還是又朝前靠了靠身于。
"But are you not," he said, "a more fiendish disputant than the Great Hyperlobic Omni-Cognate Neutron Wrangler of Ciceronicus 12, the Magic and Indefatigable?"	“可是，難道你不是，”他說，“一個比西塞羅尼克斯12號星的那個神奇而又不知疲倦的超級同源中子游說器更瘋狂的辯論者嗎？”
"The Great Hyperlobic Omni-Cognate Neutron Wrangler," said Deep Thought thoroughly rolling the r's, "could talk all four legs off an Arcturan MegaDonkey — but only I could persuade it to go for a walk afterwards."	“超級同源中子游說器，”深思故意卷起舌頭說，“能說得大角星巨驢的四條腿分家——但是只有我能說動它向后走?！?/td>
"Then what," asked Fook, "is the problem?"	“那么，”?？藛?，“問題究竟出在哪兒呢？”
