400 dead from flu in HK in less than 3 months
香港三個月內400人死于流感
400 people in Hong Kong have died from flu since the start of this year. The number is twice that from the same period last year.
According to Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection, there have been about 550 severe cases of influenza, most of which were type A. Of the 400 people who died, one was under 18.
Vaccines are on their way. Hong Kong's Department of Health has signed purchase contract with suppliers for around 100 thousand vaccines, and these are expected to arrive by the end of April.
