Newly-weds undeterred by floods in Guangdong

Heavy downpour in Guangdong has made daily lives of local residents inconvenient. However that did not deter a couple from Jiangmen city from tying the knot on Thursday.
The bride and groom braved the rain for their 30-table wedding reception, hosting family and friends who needed to stand on ceremony--atop chairs to avoid the rising waters. The rain flooded the restaurant to knee level by the time all dishes were served, with the water literally putting a dampener on the wedding as many guests--decided to leave early.
