Obama kicks off the 136th White House Easter Egg Roll
白宮第136屆復活節滾彩蛋比賽
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle hosted the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday.

More than 30,000 people attended. The First Lady's "Let's Move" initiative introduced healthy food and activities to this year's program.

The theme for the event was appropriately titled "Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape." The president blew a whistle to kick off the official Easter Egg Roll where children rolled wooden eggs along the White House lawn. Obama also read the children's classic "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. And played some basketball and tennis. The Easter Egg Roll was launched by President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1878.

Boston Marathon looks to emerge from shadow of 2013 bombing

The 118th Boston Marathon is back. Around 36,000 athletes from all over the world are running. It has been one year since twin bombings near the finish line killed three people and injured 264.

Slow-moving landslide threatens Wyoming town

A Wyoming community is under threat as city crews work to stop a slow-moving landslide from tumbling down. Rocks have been falling in Jackson, as grounds shift under this Walgreens.

The landslide prompted evacuations from homes, apartment buildings and businesses. Officials say the landslide has picked up speed in recent days, slumping as much as a foot a day. Now utility workers are trying to re-route a water main so it doesn't rupture and flood the town.
