Born and raised 土生土長
I am from Guilin, born and raised/bred. (我是土生土長的桂林人)
關于born的常用的短語還有， be born to be/do something (注定要成為，注定要做）；born with a siliver spoon in one's mouth(含著金湯匙長大的，生于富貴之家，出生富貴)；in all my born days (<表示驚訝〉聞所未聞，見所未見）；not be born yesterday (表示自己并不傻，不會輕易相信別人的話）。 舉例說明：
1）He was born to be a great interpreter. ( 他注定是個偉大的翻譯）
2）Prince Harry was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. (哈里王子是含著金湯匙長大的）
3）I have never heard such a nonsense in all my born days. (我這輩子還沒有聽過這樣的廢話呢）
4）Stop bragging about yourself. I wasn't born yesterday, you know. ( 不要自吹自擂了！我可不是三歲小孩， 你知道。）
