Snow will stop in the north, rain continues in the south

Snowstorms in North and East China have affected millions of holiday travellers returning to work after Spring Festival family reunions.
The China Meteorological Station says the snow will stop from Saturday, in north China, the snow and rain will continue in the south. Snow in North and East China has reached 10 to 25 millimeters in some parts of Henan, Anhui and Hubei provinces. Heavy rain has fallen in parts of Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei and Hunan provinces. Meanwhile, a new cold front will bring more rain and lower temperatures to South China.
"It’s predicted that from the 8th to 15th, the temperature in south China will be 2 to 4 degrees Celsius lower than the same period last year. At the same time the low temperatures and rain will continue for days in South China." said He Lifu, Forecaster, China Central Meteorological Station.
