翻譯加油站：

take your fingers out的意思是‘‘把你的手(指)拿出去”，問題是從哪里拿出去？誤譯者理解為“從所說的計劃中拿出去”，所以譯作“別插手”， 從邏輯上看似乎也說得通，可是這條英語習語的意思正相反。這個短語最初為pull one’s fingers out,意思是“(把手從口袋里拿出來）趕緊干活”。這一短語主要用于口語，用詞不是很固定，后來人們也用get或take代替pull，表示同樣的意思，如：

If he would only pull his finger out we could finish the job in half an hour.

只要他不磨磨蹭蹭，我們半小時內就可以干完。
