英語成語詞典有很多，一般都有button one’s face這一條，意思為“閉嘴（不說話)”、“守口如貧”，有時也說button one’s mouth/lips,可能后一個說法更形象，把嘴/嘴唇（用紐扣）扣起來當(dāng)然就不能開口說話了，如：

I am trying to listen to the radio—either button your mouth or get out.
