Chapter 11 Sea adventure
第11章 海上歷險
The doctor，Gray and I ran back into the house．
我和李甫西大夫，還有葛雷跑回小木屋里。
We saw Hunter lying still，after a knock on the head．
我們看見亨特躺著一動不動，他的頭被重重地擊了一下。
Joyce lay dead，shot through the head；and the squire was half-carrying the wounded captain．
喬伊斯躺在地上死去了，他頭上中了彈，鄉紳則攙著受傷的船長。
The pirates did not return，and we had time to take care of the wounded．
海盜們并沒有反擊，所以我們有時間來治療傷員。
Out of the eight men who fell in the fight，only three still breathed．
這場戰斗中倒下的八個人中有三個還沒咽氣。
One pirate，Hunter，and Captain Smollett；and of these，the first two were nearly dead．
一個海盜，亨特，還有斯摩列特船長；他們中前兩個都快死了。
The pirate died first，then Hunter only a few hours later．
海盜先死了，過了幾個小時亨特也死了。
The captain's wounds were bad but not dangerous．
船長傷得挺重但并不危險。
The doctor told him he must not walk or move his arm，and to speak only when it was necessary．
大夫告訴他不能走動也不能動胳膊，只在必要的時候才能說話。
After dinner，the squire and the doctor sat by the captain's side and talked．
午飯后，鄉紳和大夫在船長身邊坐下來商討軍情。
Then，a little past noon，the doctor took his hat，his pistols and a sword，put the map in his pocket，and walked off quickly through the trees．
時間剛過正午，大夫拿起帽子和槍，還有一把短劍，把地圖放在口袋里，迅速地消失在樹林里。
關于《金銀島》
金銀島得名有二說，一說是本島曾挖出不少錢幣。另一說是此地因產鮑魚和其他名貴海產品，到此捕撈獲利豐厚。由此引申得名，有些外文圖書成為Money Island。
