Attracted no doubt by Malfoy's shout, Argus Filch came shouldering his way through the crowd. Then he saw Mrs. Norris and fell back, clutching his face in horror.
費爾奇無疑是被馬爾福的喊聲吸引過來的，他用肩膀擠過人群。接著，他看見了洛麗絲夫人，他跌跌撞撞地后退幾步，驚恐地用手抓住自己的臉。
“My cat! My cat! What's happened to Mrs. Norris?” he shrieked.
“我的貓！我的貓！洛麗絲夫人怎么了？”他尖叫道。
And his popping eyes fell on Harry.
這時，他突起的眼睛看見了哈利。
“You!” he screeched. “You! You've murdered my cat! You've killed her! I'll kill you! I'll —”
“你！”他尖聲嚷道，“你！你殺死了我的貓！你殺死了它！我要殺死你！我要——”
“Argus!”
“費爾奇！”
Dumbledore had arrived on the scene, followed by a number of other teachers. In seconds, he had swept past Harry, Ron, and Hermione and detached Mrs. Norris from the torch bracket.
鄧布利多趕到了現場，后面跟著許多其他老師。一眨眼的工夫，他就走過哈利、羅恩和赫敏身邊，把洛麗絲夫人從火把支架上解了下來。
“Come with me, Argus,” he said to Filch. “You, too, Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, Miss Granger.”
“跟我來吧，費爾奇。”他對費爾奇說，“還有你們，波特先生、韋斯萊先生、格蘭杰小姐。”
Lockhart stepped forward eagerly.
洛哈特急煎煎地走上前來。
